The “Secret Machine” was created when JD Simo asked for a massive fuzz that sounded authentically like the old “Curtis Mayfield” recordings.
The result is a zonk style fuzz, brutal sounding, with an additional bias knob and a mid switch. Joey Landreth showcases this pedal on the Youtube channel “That Pedal Show”!
