The Gran Majesto breaks conventions with its unusual pickup covers, oversized body and eerie Catalina Green paint job.
Beneath the wacky “Phonico” covers is a classic Domino P-90 pickup in the neck position and a Grand Vintage humbucker in the bridge position. The four way switch adds another position to the traditional pickup circuitry, slightly lowering the bass on the bridge pickup. This results in a nasal, crisp sound.
The paintwork looks almost black in dark light. Under the spotlight it shows itself in a beautiful glittering dark green.
