Ok, here we present you a very special Frankenstein Les Paul: A 70’s Les Paul Custom with Mother of Pearl split block inlays, very slim neck profile and without serial number but with “Andy’s Custom” lettering. Andy’s was a guitar store and workshop located on Denmark Street in London. We assume that this Les Paul got a new neck at Andy’s. That would explain the unusual specifications. The neck pickup is a Gibson humbucker from the late 80s / early 90s era. In the bridge position there is a special gem from Seymour Duncan: A humbucker called “JBJ”. This, basically the classic JB, dates from the time when the first letter of the person who wound the pickup was printed on the pickup. In this case, it is Maricela Juarez, who today runs the custom shop of Seymour Duncan.

This Les Paul causes surprise! The playability is really nice and the sound is dry with strong midrange and with trebles rich in harmonics.
