Excellent example of a 1959 Gretsch Double Anniversary 6117. The sound of this beauty is incredible and the playability top class. This instrument was loved and played a lot, but constantly cared for and never suffered a crack or break. The frets still have a lot of life in them.
– Full Hollow Body with Soundpost
– Laminated maple top, back and sides
– 5-piece maple/ebony neck
– Ebony fingerboard
– Pearloid “Thumbprint” fret markings
– Gretsch bridge (non-original) with Bigsby B-6 tailpiece (non-original). Original tailpiece in case.
– Filter ‘Tron Humbucker with adjustable pole pieces
