Retro-futurism at its best! With the Astrojet, Gretsch embraced the Space Age that dominated American design in the early 1960s. In 1964, however, the world was not yet ready for a Gretsch that could have come from the Jetsons universe. As a result, the Astrojet was taken out of production again as early as 1967. Accordingly rare is this design masterpiece, which does not look like Gretsch at all, but sounds totally like Gretsch.
The top of the line Gretsch features includes:
