The New Old Stock Hamer Special from 1994 impresses with its full sound and quilted maple top. Although the name Hamer is not heard as often today, the brand was one of Gibson’s biggest competitors in the 1980s, especially in terms of quality and craftsmanship.
The mahogany body and neck provide a warm, focused tone with a soft attack and long sustain. The rosewood fingerboard offers a natural, comfortable playing feel.
Everything on this guitar is original, from the potentiometers from early December 1993 to the frets, bridge, saddle, and pickups.
