The Modern Deluxe series combines tradition with innovation. Thanks to the “Martin Vintage Tone System” thermally cured top, the Modern Deluxe sounds like a vintage guitar. Pure vintage-joy!

The Modern Deluxe features a slim neck profile that plays very comfortably. Thanks to the slimmer neck, the high frequencies are nicely present. As a result, the Modern Deluxe sounds brighter and clearer than its Standard Series siblings. In addition, a new bridge plate concept has been implemented in the Modern Deluxe series: The bridge plate is located under the bridge inside the guitar, between the X-Bracings. For decades, this small part, essential for stability and sound, is made of wood. No longer in the Modern Deluxe: Here this part is made of carbon with the purpose of preventing a warped top.
