Pearl OD-05 Overdrive 1980’s

Pearl branded Overdrive Pedal, made in Japan in the 1980s. The Japanese drum manufacturer produced a whole line of great-sounding effects pedals in the 1980s. The pedals were manufactured for Pearl by a company called KLM in Japan.

The OD-05 features the JRC4558 chip – the same chip found in the Ibanez Tubescreamer… A special feature is the equalizer: the mids can be adjusted from 100Hz-4KHz by +/- 15db.
