The Runesson OS model is a guitar similar in size to an 00-model. It is built in a traditional pre-war style with a soundboard of Swiss alpine spruce, with back & sides of walnut. The neck is made of walnut and maple and the guitar has a rosewood fingerboard, bridge and headplate. It is bound with walnut and maple. It is braced with a special fan-bracing which together with the rest of the construction gives it a dry and soft tone that fits very well to bluesy or old-time fingerpicking style. The glue used on this guitar is hot hide glue and it is finished with shellac. It also features an easily adjustable neck-angle for fast and exact setting of the action with the use of just an allen/hex key.
