At that time, however, the Vibrolux was only available in combo format. We can assume that this amp started its life in a combo and was converted into a piggyback at some point. The circuit was modified: In the vibrato channel, the \u201cVolume\u201d knob functions as gain and the \u201cIntensity\u201d as master volume. The vibrato effect was removed as part of this modification. Now this amplifier is only a \u201c&#8230;lux amp\u201d, but you can get great blackface style overdrive sounds at a reasonable volume. The normal channel is unchanged in order to achieve the true \u201cnon master volume\u201d power amp distortion.
