Music Man SUB 5 Textured Teal 2004

From 2003 to 2006 Music Man marketed Stingray basses under the label “S.U.B.” These were cheaper, made-in-the-USA alternatives with more budget friendly specifications. For example, the body was made of poplar and the finish was not high-gloss polished, there are no “Music Man” engravings on the hardware and the contours are less rounded.

An inexpensive made in USA Music Man bass which sounds totally like a Stingray should. This bass is pre-owned from 2004, original case included. The original “chequer plate” pickguard is enclosed in the case of the bass.
