Gretsch 6113 “Pre Chet Atkins” Tennessean Walnut 1961
SKU: 1201-1F17313CHF 6'290.00
In stock
Very early and rare Gretsch 2-pickup Tennessean 6113. The origin of this model is not entirely known. Apparently, when the Tennessean was converted from a 1-pickup to a 2-pickup guitar, the people at Gretsch planned to rename the model 6119 to 6113. However, due to disagreements with Chet Atkins, the original model name 6119 was used again a short time later.
With original Gretsch HiLotron pickups and Gretsch by Bigsby vibrato tailpiece.
Including non original case.
