The verdict of the Gitarren Total team was unanimous: the Bogner Extasy is by far the best sounding amp we have ever come across. Facts: 100 watts from 4 EL34 (6L6 as option), can be throttled down to 50 watts or 25 watts 3 channels with separately selectable EQ’s, Presence, Plexi Modes, Voicings Tube-driven parallel effect path controllable via footboard selectable Vintage/Modern Mode 3-stage speaker cabinet damping separate (transistor-free) boost circuit The big feature, however, cannot be put into words. The part simply sounds like a well-built instrument. The Bogner has a very high tone content at any gain position coupled with a sensationally controllable dynamic. Already in the clean range the amp starts to push and shove. In addition, the matching 4 x 12″ Speaker Cabinet is clearly the best choice. And not only for this amp. The box also enables a drastic sound improvement for any other amplifier.
