Tonographix Discrete Active DI-Box TR designed and built in Switzerland. Very suitable for bass and guitar. High impedance jack instrument input, for passive pickups. Other options are of course possible…Jack output separated 1:1 by active transistor circuitry for connection to an amplifier input. Advantage: no additional load on the pick-up due to the amplifier input!
- Active transistorised electronics with transformer balanced XLR output for connection to a mixing console.
- The Di-Box is made for microphone inputs with -20dB pad and 48V phantom power.
- FAT position: For passive pickups and piezo’s, deep round basses. The XLR output level is attenuated by 6dB compared to the input.
- MED position: The middle ground between fat and flat. The XLR output level is attenuated by 9dB compared to the input level.
- FLAT position: For active instruments, linear sound behaviour. The XLR output level is attenuated by 12dB compared to the input level.
