Greuter Audio Germanium Boost

The Greuter Boost is based on the legendary Treble Booster. Boosts the treble and makes the guitar sound dirty with slight distortion. The Greuter Boost is not a Clean Boost. It asserts itself very well in the mix and supports harmonics that lead nicely into feedback. Works very well with distorted low wattage tube amps.
Good for reproducing legendary guitar sounds: Eric Clapton (Beano and Cream), Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore (early Deep Purple, Tony Iommi (early Black Sabbath), Marc Bolan (T-Rex), Brain May (Queen), just to name a few.
Hand-wired, point-to-point, true bypass, Switchcraft jacks, large knob, selected and calibrated NOS germanium transistor, NOS capacitors (Philips and Tropical Fish).
Since most germanium transistors have different polarity than modern silicon transistors, they cannot be powered with a normal 9V adapter.
The Greuter Boost has an internal circuit to reverse the polarity. So you don’t have any problems with empty batteries and you don’t need a special adapter.
