This D-28 was made in the Martin Custom Shop, from strictly selected woods, by experienced guitar builders. With the faithful Forward Shifted X bracing and Hide Glue construction, it is identical to the D-28 from 1937. The top is made of Adirondack spruce, back and sides are made of solid Madagascar rosewood. All woods were treated according to the Martin Vintage Tone System thermal. The full and pleasantly brilliant sound is guaranteed to blow away any strummer.
