The long awaited Custom Order, in which only the finest and best sounding materials were used:
The top is made of so-called “bear claw Engelmann spruce” and has a unique grain. The back and sides are made of Madagascar rosewood and are rounded off by bindings of bubinga and green paua. The elaborate “tree of life” inlay of green paua on the rosewood fingerboard is perfectly incorporated. Rare mammoth ivory was used as saddle and bridge material.
We are very pleased to have been able to realise this unique instrument together with the Martin Custom Shop and wish the owner much joy and happy hours playing music.
