Here we have a vintage original from 1966. The tone of this 1960s “Blackface” Deluxe Reverb is simply magnificent…
The output transformer was replaced a while back with a Hammond model. The chassis was adapted to the size of the new transformer. The volume pot of the normal channel and the treble pot of the vibrato channel are newer. The grill cloth seems to be from a Silverface era Fender amp. We assume that the original was replaced at some point. The amp was checked and serviced in our workshop. The cable from the footswitch was replaced.
