THE STRAT was Fender’s project to trigger memories of the high quality standards and values of the early 60s. The goal was a state-of-the-art, high-quality Strat with the look of a “pre-CBS” Strat (the smaller headstock seems to miss the mark a bit).
Plugged into an amp, this guitar turns oout to be a real beast! The sound has a crisp and quick attack without being harsh. Silky low-mids provide a noble tone. This model in rare Olympic White is all original, including the tremolo arm and newer G&G case.
