Rockett SOS Buffer

The SOS Buffer is the perfect tool for all those who have long effect chains and struggle with the resulting sound loss. Due to long cable runs and many true bypass pedals, the resistance becomes greater and greater. The SOS buffer turns this high-impedance signal into a low-impedance one. Thus, the impedance is optimised for the following pedals. It doesn’t sound like much, but it’s very important: without a buffer, distortions with germanium transistors in particular react strangely to the high-impedance signal. The distortion compresses and sounds less transparent. With the impedance adjusted by the SOS buffer, your Germanium Fuzz sounds like it should again. In addition to the buffer function, the SOS Buffer has the option of reprocessing the treble. This is done via the potentiometer.
