Since pre-hispanic times, artistic women from the indigenous communities of Putumayo in Colombia wove these straps to carry their children. We meet directly the artists from this native groups in Putumayo -Colombia to build by hand every individual and unique strap. In this precious object, the History of the early ancestors is written. All the symbols represented in the straps have a meaning (the abundant river, the path with no end, the womb, protection, corn plants, flutes..and many others).
