Fat Bastard Custom Amp

The idea of building an amplifier for the demanding guitarist, which, true to the old models, has a maximum of sonority and is equipped with special effects, has been a concern of mine for a long time. Equipped with a 15″ (1956 P15N) Jensen speaker and a 45W push-pull power amp with two 6L6WGC tubes, the power is not overdimensioned, but can easily cope with larger applications. The sound is full and warm (FAT), the highs silky to sparkling. This makes the FAT BASTARD interesting for JAZZ musicians as well as for SURF and BLUES guitarists. The reverb can be mixed continuously from warm to aggressive. The Harmonic Vibrato is very special. A complex circuit, which was only used for a short time in the early sixties, is now experiencing a renaissance!
