The coated strings from D’addario on which you do not notice the coating! The ultra-thin coating of the XS strings prevents coroision of the string and thus ensures a long-lasting fresh string feeling. The coating is almost not noticeable and the sound is exceptionally warm and rich in overtones.

The core of the string is made of D’Addario’s proven NY Steel, a steel alloy which has exceptional break resistance and tuning stability.
