Fender Precision Bass 1955 2-Tone Sunburst Refin

A vintage player with a terrific sound. This Fender Precision Bass from approx. 1955 has seen a lot… But it’s got plenty of mojo to show for it! The bass was restored a long time ago in our workshop by Duncan James. Back then, the bass arrived without a finish and equipped with a single Gibson EB-3 humbucker pickup. The humbucker rout was expertly filled with a beautiful piece of ash, and the body was refinished in a nice thin, ’50s-style 2-Tone Sunburst. Of course, with authentic nitrocellulose lacquer. A Seymour Duncan Antiquity single-coil P-Bass pickup was installed. The neck was also refinished and refretted, and a bone nut was installed.
