Are you looking for an affordable and great sounding vintage Fender? Your search ends with a 1979 Stratocaster. Because Strats from this year usually have nice fat neck profiles, terrific sounding pickups and do not yet achieve “collector prices”.
This hardtail model has been stripped of its original paint and a new pickguard has been fitted. At the amp it turns out to be a twang monster with razor-sharp attack and treble that pierces through every mix.
