Fender Telecaster Blonde 1967

SKU: 16977

1967 Fender Telecaster Olympic White / Transition Era with Pre-CBS character

This 1967 Fender Telecaster is an outstanding example of the early CBS era—an instrument with exceptional vintage charm, extremely lightweight, and with authentic twang.
The lightweight ash body features the original nitrocellulose finish with lots of character. The rosewood fingerboard on the lacquered maple neck makes this Tele a particularly sought-after. Typical late ’67 features include a black CBS logo, F-tuners, and “Modern Tele Wiring”—but at the same time, many specifications that existed before the CBS takeover, such as cloth-covered wiring and flush ferrules.
Original pickups, solder joints, hardware, pickguard, and electronics are unchanged. It plays superbly, has a crisp attack, a bell-like sounding neck pickup, and classic Tele twang at the bridge.
An original Telecaster with soul, light weight, and unpretentious vintage appeal – ready to play on stage and worthy to add to any collection.
Comes including the original Fender hard shell case and Ashtray Bridge Cover.
