Gibson Les Paul Standard 1959 VOS Red Tiger Burst Ebony Back “Tyra”
Les Paul Standard R9. Reissue of the legendary Les Paul Standard from 1959. With long tenon neck, nitro finish and authentic Gibson Alnico III pickups. The pickups were not dipped in liquid wax, as is common nowadays. This makes it sound more resonant and “airy” which brings it closer to the sound of an original 1959 PAF pickup. Such a pickup mounted on such a lively and overtone-rich sounding guitar is the best you can ask for.
