This Martin Custom Shop D-1 is an authentic replica in the style of 1931. The woods were treated according to the Martin “Vintage Tone System” thermal to achieve the best possible sound. The top is made of Adirondack spruce, sides and back are made of solid mahogany. To stay true to Martin’s golden years, the neck and body are glued with Hide Glue and the “X-Bracing Pattern” is authentically reproduced.
