Like Leo Fender on his early prototypes, Maybach is using pine wood for the bodys of their T-Style guitars. The lightweight wood in combination with the chunky maple neck gives a very lively, warm sound with a nice crisp attack. The vintage style singlecoil from Amber add the characteristic twang. The “Keith” features an Amber Spirit of ’59 humbucker pickup in the neck position. It’s in the style of a vintage Gibson pickup and has a pleasantly sweet warmth. High-quality hardware and top-notch build quality makes the guitars from Maybach highly desirable.
