Rickenbacker 4001S Mapleglo 1968
SKU: 18549A vintage, original Rickenbacker 4001S in Mapleglo from 1968. This 4001S is the rare export version of the famous bass. Rose Morris, the European importer at the time, had the 4001 produced with dot inlays instead of the usual sharktooth inlays. Rose Morris even gave this instrument its own model name: RM1999
This 4001S / RM1999 is identical to the bass that Paul McCartney often used during the Abbey Road sessions! (Except that it’s not the left-handed model.)
