Spell Binder Straight Shooter Booster Preamp. On my trip to Athens, I discovered Spell Binder and brought the Straight Shooter to Switzerland. The Straight Shooter is their first pedal on the market. It sounds incredibly good – a true hi-end pleasure for guitarists and bassists. Clean Boost at its finest. “It opens the windows and doors for you and lets the sunshine in”. The signal becomes broader and more open without distorting the character of the instrument (tone control at 12 o’clock). A real clean boost and even more: with the tone control you can colour the signal nicely. From bass, lower mid and treble boost.
