The American Dream series marks Taylor’s entry-level, made in USA guitars. Made in El Cajon in southern California, the AD17 features solid walnut back and sides and a solid sitka spruce top. The matte black finish on the top gives this Round Shoulder guitar a noble yet mysterious look.
Thanks to the absence of decorations such as inlays or bindings, the AD17 remains in a very attractive price range.
