When Rick Beato contacted us in July 2026 to say he wanted to visit Gitarren Total, I was shocked at first: For the first time in 11 years, Gitarren Total was closed for two days over the summer, and Rick Beato happened to be in Zurich on those very two days…
Of course, we’re more than happy to open Gitarren Total exclusively for Rick! Right on the minute, Beato and his team walk into the store on the agreed-upon day. I give Rick a private tour and show him our most special and rarest treasures. He’s most impressed by our one-of-a-kind selection of vintage amplifiers—especially our “Tower of Marshall Plexis.”
The entire tour was filmed and can now be viewed on YouTube. Enjoy watching Rick Beato’s tour of Gitarren Total!
Many thanks to Rick Beato and his team for this once-in-a-lifetime experience and the great video 🙂
